MIKE HOYGeneral Manager
I was instrumental in the founding of Papermule in 2003 and focus on the provision of the customer facing aspects of the business.

My life in publishing started in 1991 with Hyphen and their RIP technology and I’ve been instrumental in a variety of projects over the years for some of the UK’s largest and most demanding publishers. RIPs to Workflow, Media Libraries to asset ingestion, processing, validation and distribution. Today we hold a special interest in managing UK national print advertising.

If I’m not at work I’m probably running or flying – neither of which I ever seem to
find enough time for!

DAVID HOWESBusiness Development
When Noah went to get business cards printed he came to me – that’s how long I’ve been in the printing industry.

I started out as a hot-metal compositor and worked my way through the many changes in the industry. I ran my own typesetting company in the 70s before moving into sales with Itek, Linotype, Berthold and Hyphen. I started Tera UK in the late 90s and worked on that project through to the sale of the company in 2010.

I now divide my time between Papermule and cycling (combining both on sunny days by riding between home and the office – a round trip of 60 miles). On summer weekends you will find me racing in a Time Trial somewhere in the UK and in the winter I can be found in the West Upper at Stamford Bridge.

BRYAN NORRYProduct/Client Manager
As a 16 year old fresh face lad from school; in 1974 I started work at The Observer newspaper as a junior accounts clerk, working my way up to senior account roles.

During my time at The Observer technology took off in the publishing industry and I became more involved in the systems side installing accounting, ad booking and pagination systems.

I have been involved in deploying planning and pagination systems at a number of customers and along with Mike Hoy play a major role in customer facing aspects for Papermule.

Outside of work I enjoy Formula One (watching) and trying to grab the occasional game of golf.

PAULA GRIFFINApplication Specialist
I started my career in print at the tender age of 17 as a typesetter at Kall Kwik, rapidly progressing to Typesetting Manager for the Yellow Advertiser. I was instrumental in the deployment of their first digital planning platform across the group. This led to a 21 year career at Associated Newspapers, culminating as Advertising Production Manager, with responsibilities for ad planning and copy chasing, using MediaPlanner & AdDesk.

My current role as Application Specialist involves remote and site based customer support, calling upon my extensive working knowledge of a busy newspaper production environment.

Outside the office my passion for all things equestrian is legendary, as is following my husband around the globe as his support at endurance cycling events.
