Papermule Copy Chasing provides users with immediate access to the 'What', 'Who', 'Where', and 'When' information they need to get missing copy in time for production deadlines. Adding Copy Chasing to Workflow gives automation for the copy chasing process and the functionality to track the status of chased content and manage the chasing process itself.
Copy Chasing extends Workflow to add copy chasing automation. It provides ready access to the contact information and meta data that users need to identify missing copy, discover who is responsible for supplying it, and help them acquire that copy from its provider. Where contact information is not available, historical data and predictive analysis is used to suggest likely contacts. Once the missing copy has been received, the system helps the user insert the copy in the workflow and associate it with other content assets as required.

Copy chasing fully supports management and auditing of the copy chasing process. Copy chasing tasks can be assigned and re-assigned to users and chasing prioritised. The current status of assets and their 'chasing' can be monitored: a full chase history including any notes a user records about chasing is maintained, giving users immediate access to the current status of chased copy.
