MediaPlanner

MediaPlanner (from Agefame) is the UK's leading advertising planning tool providing publishers with the ability to plan newspapers, magazines and directories. As a PC based application, MediaPlanner is easily integrated into a variety of ad sales systems and provides both automatic and manual ad placement facilities along with the inclusion of class headers, fillers etc. This level of integration provides MediaPlanner with the ability to track all advertising to be planned in each publication / edition and provide live reporting on changes, ad revenue per page etc. even before all the content is available.

Rules about preferred ad location, bleed, scaling, sort order etc. can all be defined and adhered to by the solution which greatly reduces errors and in turn costly refunds. Output from MediaPlanner is possible over a number of channels allowing full classified pages to be output as postscript or pdf and part editorial pages via XT technology in Quark and InDesign.
